Beating Bookies is a fun UFC prediction competition where you pick main-card winners and compete for event and season bragging rights.
Main Activities:
- Pick winners for every main card fight
- Select one lock pick per event
- Track event and season leaderboards
- Challenge friends with UFC side bets
Pick winners for each main-card fight.
Picks lock at each fight’s start time.
✓ Correct Favorite: +1 point
✓ Correct Underdog: +2 points
✗ Incorrect Pick: 0 points
Event Lock (1 per event):
Correct: +1 bonus | Incorrect: -1 point
Pro Tip: Underdog locks are high-risk, high-reward. Use your lock on a pick you feel strongest about.
Challenge another player by proposing a side bet on any fight. You pick one fighter, they automatically get the other.
How it works:
- Propose a bet by selecting a fight and your pick
- Another player accepts, taking the opposite side
- Winner gets +1 point, loser gets -1 point
- Points transfer directly between players
Important:
- Limited by the number of fights on the card
- Accepted bets cannot be cancelled
- You can go negative in total points
- Cancelled fights void the side bet
The UFC season runs from January through December.
Each event has its own leaderboard, plus a season-long total leaderboard.
Standings update as fights finish and picks are scored.
